Why Should I Consign with JBF? The average consignor check for our first event was over $360!
As a consignor you make 65%* on your item sales less the $10 consignor fee and you set the prices on your items. (*Volunteer a minimum of 3 hours and make 70% on your sold items)
We do all the advertising and merchandising of your items.
You get to shop early at the consignor pre-sale BEFORE we open to the public.
Your items will be sorted for you at pick up or you may choose to donate them to local area charities.
Consignors checks will be mailed within 2 weeks of the sale completion.
How Do I Become A Consignor?
What we need:Fall/Winter children's clothing and accessories (newborn to pre-teen sizes). Winter coats, boots and other seasonal items like Halloween costumes will be accepted.ALL SEASON maternity clothingToys, books, games, puzzles, dolls, videos, CD'sFisher Price items, Barbies, outside play equiptment, etc.Bikes, ride-on toys, play gyms, slides, cars (Little Tikes items sell very well)Strollers, cribs, swings, high chairs, pack 'n plays, car seats (less than 5 years old and not recalled- please click here for link to Consumer Product Safety Commission to check on recalled items) Nursery items such as monitors, mobiles, bedding and blanketsChildren's and nursery furniture including changing tables, rockers, bedding and room decor.No used stuffed animals will be accepted.
Getting Started:After you register you are ready to get started. Please read all of the information located under merchandise prep. Please pay close attention to how you are to tag your items, what is acceptable to bring and start preparing your items! It's never too early to get them ready!!
Clothing Guidelines: While some past styles are coming back, please pay careful attention to what you bring. When styles reappear 20 years later, there is typically a variation on the original idea. For that reason, we limit items to those purchased in the last 5 years.
Number Of Items To Consign:Just Between Friends recommends you have at least 20 items to consign or a minimum of $100 of merchandise to make it worth your time and to receive an acceptable return on your items.
